That townhall was more gloomy than Karen's when she announced Brian Kane fired and the 2 billion.

I came in towards the end when some guy in a suit up front asked him basically what about the existing leadership.

What was the three bullets on how he is going to turn things around?

Anyone else see that $4+ million organ sitting there also per usual? Seems like if it was worth that much, they could sell it and help at least fund the commesary for a fat minute...

Tell you what.
You stop laying off employees.
I'll give you 110%.

Until then:This is the change they created.

One foot on LinkedIn

Kind of basic bro.

Hello @Nonegativityneeded. It sounds like you were not affected by the layoffs. You have to put yourself in the colleagues shoes who were laid off and now have to figure out how they are going to get food, shelter and take care of their families. The economy is getting worse day by day. There is a reason people are angry.

Once you’re laid off, you didn’t lose internet access… You are no longer an employee per se. You’re being paid by CVS so that they comply with WARN notices. I’m sorry if this hurts, but it’s reality for all of us. Maybe you’ll get back in, maybe not. But you’re not invited or have access because you’re on the outside now. Not included cause technically you no longer work there. Call it being in limbo if you’d like.

I get it, it su-ks. I’m affected too.

I understand that emotions are high and that this has been a tough time for all of us. Our new CEO has only been with us for three days, and it’s understandable that he wanted to hold a town hall to introduce himself and give us a chance to get to know him. This is a big change not just for him, but for everyone in the company. To see so many people come on here and mock him is disgusting. From everything to promotions (do you think he personally is promoting anyone) to his clothing choices (you are not Trump so don’t be so rude). Stop with the bully mentality for once.

We all want to see our company succeed, and to do that, we need to come together and support one another. Posting negative comments doesn’t help anyone and won’t resolve the fears and concerns we have.

Yes, it’s devastating that people have been laid off, and none of us wanted to see that happen to our colleagues. But at the end of the day, it’s up to us to be the change we want to see and to help lead this company forward with a united front. Stop with the negativity and let’s help be part of the solution.

No, I am not “drinking the Kool Aid”. I have been here far too long and just want to see our company succeed.

If you've been here 20 to 30 years...its time to say goodbye.
Talent was let go during the October sla-ghter by mediocre mid level managers who were unfit for their people leader roles. Threatened and codependent...

Waiting for the boomerang..and yes there's more coming.

I have no idea what it means that company isn’t integrated correctly. Medicare Advantage utilization was not addressed. The entire call seemed to be David selling to the company why he should be the CEO.

The language of figuring out a more permanent restructure with “only the best talent” in the next couple weeks point at truth to the December layoff IMO.

Lot of people who were laid off lost internet access. However it sounds like there is no plan ??

Sh-t.

I know sh-t's bad right now. With all that starving bullsh-t. And the dust storms. And we're running out of French Fries and burrito coverings. But I got a solution.

We got this guy Not Sure.. and He's got a higher IQ than any man alive!

he says he wants to keep and promote "home grown" talent while all of the jobs are off shored to India. Twilight Zone!

This guy is all over the place. Doesn’t exactly instill a sense of confidence. Probably should have given himself a week to organize his thoughts before his first address to the entire enterprise.

If he cared so much about homegrown talent, you’d think more people would get promoted internally around here

Literally just telling how how he will turns things around aka standard bullsh-t. You laid off people enjoy spreading FUD with your free time.

He needs to come clean with everyone on bonus and layoffs. Either he takes the medicine now or he loses credibility immediately if they surprise employees in January. This company doesn't seem capable of leveling with employees and instead allows the rumor mill to run rampant.

Buckle up for what. This is going to be David telling us why he took this role and why he believes that CVS can turn things around. They will do the rah rah on why CVS is important to take care of people etc etc
