How do I get a W2 from 2016 when I was at VMware? I thought there was a site (Workday or ADP). Any helpful reply would be much appreciated.

You can get this from the IRS directly.
The NSA has all your info. Just keep saying 2016 W2 2016 W2 to your phone and it will come in your email.
That far back would be ADP. You should have credentials if you ever set them up. I have stubs going back decades in ADP.
