Just curious if anyone here worked/works for MedExpress under Optum and what their thoughts are.

I currently work at MedExpress in Arkansas. No one has given us confirmation of closing or being bought out but we have definitely have talk in our offices about this happening.
My thoughts on MedExpress/Optum- sad that MedExpress after 24 yrs will no longer exists. Great Care Fast was built by people who cared about patients and quality, People who would work together and cared for patients like they were family. Teams that worked to make MedExpress successful were family. Changes within healthcare and Optum happened. It is sad to watch this all go away after so many years and watching so many dedicated people say good bye to something that was so important to them.
88- Centers sold to UMPC-Go Health Urgent Care- in WV, VA and PA. I heard MedExpress/ Optum recently closed the last 2- Minnesota centers- Leaving only a handful of centers in TX & AR.
I don’t but I understand they sold off many of their Urgent Care Clinics, so if the new company doesn’t take those employees, that will be hard on a lot of people
