They layed off 30+ employees anyone from analyst to director!! Claimed it’s because of lack of return to office everyone is saying it’s a mass layoff in disguise so they can’t come after them! Terrible company! Zero warning just a call from HR on a random Monday in October teams were not notified and left scrambling some lost their director and have no direction now!

They made it seem like it was a firing with cause due to breach of contract following RTO. 2 weeks pay no benefits. Rehire not sure 30+ employees from spark alone…
It was across multiple agencies and offices. Sounds like some remote employees were "laid off" with benefits/severance, but the people who weren't under remote contracts got no benefits, severance, and marked ineligible for rehire.
We'll, they were already measuring average number of days at work. Obviously they were planning this. Also, their business is going down. So they need to layoff under some excuse.
Which office did this happen in? Was it a layoff in the sense they gave layoff benefits or did they make it look like breach of contact since they broke RTO rules and fired them with cause?
