It’s like clockwork in PE land.
No sure about a large scale layoff within the Enterprise Security Group (ESG) at this point. ESG had a big cut back in September. On another note, I know a couple of ESG sales reps who got laid off this week.
Anything in the ESG group?
It's today for the Broadcom (CA) team. Several folks on my LinkedIn indicate they were laid off today.
I don't think anyone doubted this was gonna happen, just a question of when.

Nope, Tanzu reorg announced on 22nd, but in an example of how to deliver the news in the worst way possible, no one knows how they will be re-org’d or laid off until a month or so.
The reason for the delay is so that everyone can have their “heads down and focus” to deliver the next version of the Tanzu platform.
Uh, yea, that will help focus. Clearly one of the best places to work.
