I am just curious how already incredibly lean teams can possibly be cut any further and expect that the company will function. AI has not completely taken over yet and there is a whole lot of work to be done that can’t be done by a computer.
Joyner is a Caretaker. He is a salesman so he will 'sell the needed changes'. The board started looking d-mb and dumped Karen. Now Joyner will be the figurehead while the big cuts are rolled out.
This gives the board time to find the new 'savior' to bring the company back to life. Joyner will go back to retirement. The hope is all the bad will be blamed to Lynch and Joyner and people will forget.
sure. I dont mind the layoff. just say it out loud please and make it official. its spoiling our health dreading the doomsday :)
