Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

The slow, painful death of SMB

If you’re still in the SMB world at Voyix, probably best to get out now. Most of the sales managers that didn’t get riffed have left on their own accord, all support is in Serbia now, which is where everything is headed. Aloha was by far the leader in hospitality pos when NCR bought Radiant. Now…the competition sees Aloha as a joke. Way to ki-l an iconic brand!

Smb is a small part of our business but the most complex. Hearing it could be sold off.

What happened to the whole “run the store” initiative started by Ismile? Is PS no longer part of the Voyix strategy?

I you get a good severance package, you maybe able to ride out an entire year, then milk unemployment. It can be a good time to clear debt if you take the severance payment and go right back to work, or milk unemployment after severance……..
depends on your situation, under the table work could play in as well as your age.

And heck, you could get lost in the corporate world and get paid for years doing very little, lol

I’d leave but I’d rather get let go with a severance and ride out the rest of the year.
