Major shakeups. Some groups were simply disbanded - CTAs and some Sales. A few new jobs created, but available to only a few.
This company is in a quiet meltdown for sure.
Yes- i have a friend who was given notice- no bench, just notice with the standard package. If you are in the US and your client doesn’t require us citizen - there is a chance your slot is going “offshore”
I can't say anything about USA. But it depends on the markets and the accounts being lost. Some markets has a reported bench target of 50-70/quarter + there has been surprise target of 150-300 more by the end of year.
Some markets has lost big accounts and almost immediate benching of 300-400 people across support regions
not just 1 site, 3 or 4 support sites across Canada or UK or EU or India
I know manger who had of 35 direct report last year who now has12-15. one who has now 3 direct reports.
I know of manager who has target of 4 to bench last week and a new target of 4 more this week.
I don't think that is good for the support. Less than half a team remains and most cases it is not best who remain
Yes, department cut and happen to get ahead of it before announced.
Thank you for the civil response to my question.
Yes. Layoffs are happening, and they have been since launch, all over the world.
They keep the numbers low, but they're chipping away all the time.
