Intel Israel to lay off several hundred after holidays

In Israel, the dismissals are set to begin after the holidays and will likely include several hundred employees out of the 11,000 employees in Haifa, Petah Tikva, Jerusalem, and Kiryat Gat.

It’s always interesting to see how people respond in a completely anonymous forum. Intel Israel just needs to complete the cut to be in line with the regular 15% world wide. About half that amount tool the CPM. And btw our tax money is about 0.5% of Israels economy, we use it more for our advantage than they really need it. It’s our political back they need more than anything not money.

The grant the U.S. government gave to Intel might be helping them not having to layoff a proportionate number of employees in Israel.
