Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Layoffs are done for now

Layoffs were completed last week. If our manager notified us that it was over, I'm going to assume that others did as well. We're all stressed out as it is, why add fuel to the fire for no good reason and claim there is more today?

at dell, there is no such thing as layoffs being "over." lol... I do know that for SRO, layoffs have been completed and no more are planned for the next few years. It was actually pretty funny because during our "all hands" this morning, one of the Q&A's was if there was a list you could join to be laid off. The VP stumbled around and said no, but talk to your manager. lol

They might be done for your group, not others

Also, even if there were no more layoffs this place has become so miserable the stress would still be at a crushing level.

November 8th is another cycle. They are doing is secret pockets to avoid it to report to SEC. They are smarter.
