Thread regarding Adidas layoffs

Andreas - out

Is the C.I.Oh the victim of his on gliding through his own gliding path? Meaning he did not have the guts to cut budgets ?

Thoughts on why he is out?

And who is next from his tribe? Suddenly it must feel lonely for the adidas jetks without his backing. They should be shaking a bit. Papa Andreas is not there to protect you.

Reading this after the recent announcement makes me wondering how bad is the environment in the campus in the last 5, 6 years…

I hope adidas finds a good next role for Andreas (SCM?), he is one of the few people left in adidas who speak up, develop their teams and truly has the best for adidas in mind. He actually values different opinions and likes to have a thorough discussions around topics - a trait we seem to lose a bit lately. Talk to people he worked with and you will hear that he is a great manager, leader and person. Talk to people who do not have substance, and they will hate him because he calls them out for it. No bullsh-t. Andreas makes adidas better every day and I hope the board values him as much as they should.

Andreas is actually an incredibly nice and generous guy. Not sure if you knew him personally, but he spends a lot of time and effort staying connected to people at all levels of his organization, which is a rarity these days and at his level .
