Just to highlight that Apache Egypt has laid off and in process of paying of majority of its Staff and contractors in Egypt siting Restructure saving of money and nationalization.
Some of the staff have been with the Company for 25+years and 1 weeks notice prior to staff leaving concessions some were even at home when notified

I don’t understand why a company would get rid of its people on the ground who are active participating the day to day duties while there are many deadbeats based in the offices pretending to be active this company should of carried out a restructure of the local and international offices

Is this a company wide initiative or just Egypt?
are we talking about egyptian nationals being laid off that are Apache employees and contractors that have transferred from the JVs to Apache at some point in the past?
Do the layoffs in Cairo include Expats?
I can’t wait for it to happen. It will not happen fast enough. The bad part about it, is all of the upper executives will cash out and they don’t deserve s@@t.

Sad to hear. A company is doomed when the only decisions mgmt makes is layoffs and asset sales. JCs Titantic won’t stay afloat much longer.
