DZ most likely cannot be fired right now due to the lawsuit from investors. If Intel fires him, it could be seen as an admission of guilt in the lawsuit. I doubt Intel legal would let it happen.

Do you remember HR was giving each other high fives for hiring 1000 employees in a week before we started massive layoffs late 2022. Most of those hires were bad hires, hired during the hottest job market. Low quality hires hired at high grade levels. During that time, I was asked to interview engineering candidates for an individual contributor who got approval to hire 8 people. He was in a hurry to fill these reqs to qualify for a promo. We hired people when my own input for negative, not to hire. Engineers who got laid off from Ericsson, or Intel during that time. When I objected to one of them, the hiring manager said she was good because she was “humble”. In my many years of experience, I have not heard humble as a key hiring criteria for an engineering role.

You forgot Saf - hired by Bob as DEI hire based on recommendation from another charlatan DEI Aicha but Pat kept him. He has zero semi background, still doesn’t understand even core products after being at Intel for 3+ years. His contribution is wasting intel’s money on hiring his McKinsey colleagues and McKinsey as a consulting vendor funneling millions of dollars.

A G11 is a Senior PE , Sr Director. If we have people like those in TD then why are we struggling who to ISP ?

There are many people hired from outside in 2021-2023 are fakes. They are from layoffs in GlobalFoundry and others. They are hired as G11 to manage key TD groups, but they are completely clueless, just telling lies.

PG didn't hire Raja Koduri. Raja joined back in 2017 so before PG's "triumphant" return to "save" Intel.

I don't disagree with the assessment of Raja though, the dude was clueless and faked his way for years with BS PPT decks.
