Stop Rushing

So the director of operating practices sends out a message telling us to stop rushing. Which directly contradicts what microman has been saying the last 6+ years. So which is? What exactly do you want from us? We're told that track speed in the yard is 10mph so we need to be running 10. We need to get on and off moving equipment because it saves times not having to stop n start the train moving again. We need to be out the door 10 mins and working 10mins after start time. We can job brief on the train after we clear yard limits. All we hear day after day is how we need to do more and work harder because we owe it to the shareholders. So pick a side Omaha. Stop contradicting yourself

Wake up and lie to the investors, have 2 separate balance sheets for the investors. Encourage us to break rules, as long as they don't see it or hear it, meanwhile they are hiding in box cars, jumping out of bushes, playing with their kids drones. The reason they rush us out, is really simple they don't want you to smell the liq-or and weed on their breath. Hurry up get your paperwork and go. I wonder who is charge of giving these managers random dr-g test and when is the last time these managers all of the systemwide had a hair follicle dr-g test. They sure would be able to clean house if they gave these managers dr-g test.

Upper management lately has been publicly contradicting more and more of what lower management says and does daily. It is just a manner of time before something big will happen and lower management will be caught / exposed for pressuring, harassing, and threatening workers to “hurry up” which forces employees to compromise on rules, procedures, protocols, and safety. Lower management is increasingly not adhering to the public image upper management conveys to the govt and media. It has never been this blatant / bad.
