Is this store closing? Somebody told me they just read it was announced it was closing.

Very reliable Macys source told me in confidence that it would be closing but not sure which year due to lease. Business down and crime in Philly is as bad as it’s ever been. Center City should be safer place to shop and this site is near City Hall.
The store is not on the list to close at this time.

yes it’s on the closing list for end of this year
The store still does good volume so if it closed it'd be purely a real estate play. I haven't heard anything about it
An employee died there last year due to relentless crime in downtown Philly.
