Intel currently has 35% of its chips manufactured at TSMC. Why do they need the FABS anymore. Can only mean more layoffs to come with smaller packages as Intel is running out of money and selling the family jewels.

Not sure about that but one of the two (ProdCo or Fab) is going to be working under a different name and logo. That is a fact. Will the buyer do a layoff?
