Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Still flying

Something to ponder.
They will reduce people yet keep a corporate airplane.

There's not one thing we do that is that time sensitive. Not one.
So they don't make "hard choices ".
They keep comfort.

Remember we are just a number.
No more no less.

Agree, why do they have to meet in person in this day and age? Remember last year when they had lay offs and then we all found out that the bigwigs were going to meet in Washington? Someone asked why their travel wasn't eliminated and the response was that they need to meet in person for strategic purposes. Wine and dine themselves, then write it all off as a corporate expense, and/or we don't have to live by our sword, but you do.

You dont need corp planes to run a business .

Many companies never had them or eliminated them.

ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO ELIMINATE 2 BILLION IN COSTS!!!!

Nice try but you dont get it.

This shows a fundamental lack of understanding of business aviation. There are little airports all over the country that are not served by airlines but are accessible by private aircraft. They provide a means to quickly travel to the towns nearby to conduct business.

Maybe they will get rid of the helicopter and hanger now as it was only good for KL to go from Hartford to Woonsocket, and thats not needed now

Still can't quite figure out why business travel exists in the age of free video calls. The boomgroid mind truly is a terrible thing.
