Hearing more talk about another layoff upcoming in January, focused on Google Cloud. Focus will be on specialty pre-sales roles. In my opinion, even after the last round, they barely scratched the surface of what could be done....so folks need to prepare. There are way too many open calendars, focus time blocks, and teams that nobody's ever heard of. Literally found out there's a team called NASA. WTF??

Confirmed: 100% bullet-proof rumors about layoffs in January. It's not just focus blocks in calendar. It's customers who after onboarding on the cloud year ago with heavy discounts get shock of their life seeing the full bill on renewals and repatriating. The AI parlor trick is also starts to get tiring by not materialing promised benefits.
I will be surprised if there is no major layoff!
