This may be the last chance for Intel to use the remaining market share to trade for better management and survivorship.

AMD is not that stup-d. They got out of the fab/manufacturing business and their success has soared. They already make better x86 products than Intel so what would they gain from Intel's IP. This will never happen.

Lina Kahn and Elizabeth Warren would rather see Intel disappear.

Who's got the China and Russian markets ?
Who's exporting there in bulk sets without any security restrictions ?
Black market server and PC lines trickle in !
India needs to get out of the economic caste system and become a consumer over taking China !
Plenty of great India based open source software !
Trade wars stifling economies !

This is a big NO NO for antitrust regulation… you can’t have only one provider of x86 chips.
