We are seeing all the impacted areas of sales, dfs, cyber, etc this week. Next week is support layoffs such as Premier maintenance, product managers, business managers and more. For all those that survive this months hunger games it will be time to ready yourself for next month. I do believe we will have the month of December off from layoff so enjoy that. January brings RTO insanity and February will be a layoff grand finale as the music ends on the musical chairs of restructure for a brief time. Don't lose your mind over it. It might be a good time to figure out why you do what you do to begin with. It's a perfect time to embrace change. Dell should not be anyone's life. It's a job that gives you income to live your life.

lol - product managers hardly ever get touched (compared to other positions)!! We all say they are useless, lazy etc but at the end of all of it, let’s face it they are making the decisions that shape the direction of where we’re going.
Coming from a SW engineer who wants the ticket to prod mgmt in any product. They get paid the most even at lower level ranks and they have the inside scoop let’s face it….
If you are at Dell, your safest and best bet is to try to move into the Federal Department. They almost never get touched by layoffs - unless you are in sales lol.
Been there 6 years and I can count on one hand the number of folks who've been laid off. They were ALWAYS long time Dell employees with fairly high IC's, too.
First, Dell is just a follower not the one who sets the trends.
Second, after the sh-t show Tell Dell was, I’m pretty sure RTO is coming next FY
wish someone would come forward with more info. after all, MD is quoted saying remote was a mistake.
with dell things are in a constant state of degradation.
always.
best case is the degradation slows down a bit. That is it.
There is no chance of RTO for everyone or leave, that would be a PR disaster
Maybe an RTO with a VSP for those won't RTO
What RTO stuff in January ? Will remote stop being an option ?
