ATTENTION CLOSING STORES! How’s it going?

Hi everyone, hope you’re holding up!

We’ve only got a few more weeks of this struggle left! Is your store also falling apart? Is the store manager absent mentally? Is management completely disengaged? Are other stores eager to take your fixtures and mannequins? It really makes you wish these closures would happen faster instead of prolonging this ordeal just for holiday profits. It’s tough to find pride in our work when so many stores are shutting down for good. We hardly receive any recognition for our hard work, let alone a simple hello from our money-focused store manager! It must be quite a bonus to operate with so few managers!

We have transferred two of our managers to others stores and promoted two captains into manager roles. Our store shares a store manager with another location and they have to keep bringing managers over from the other store since our new ones don't know what they are doing.

Freight continues to come in heavy and is stacking up in the stockrooms and on the dock. We have had two team members go out on LOA and we have double digit open jobs that aren't getting filled. Last week we had four people that were auto hired supposed to start and only one of the showed up to complete the paperwork. It's a hot mess.

STM needs to hit all the metrics (HUR, Loyalty, Conversion, Sales, IFR, NPS Score) to bonus.
