Thread regarding VISA Inc. layoffs

Shareholders Ask - stop the constant restructuring expense

As a longtime Visa Shareholder, it’s frustrating to see all this talk of layoffs and severance. Those dollars could be better spent on new products and innovation. Releasing staff, and ultimately hiring replacement resources at a higher cost is good money after bad. Congratulations to those of you getting free money, wish we could see that in dividends instead of upset lives, etc.

@Warren Buffet
If you don’t know anything about investing just admit it. Only ~20% of stocks outperform the broader index. Everyone and their cat knows the index has been propped up by mega cap tech in the last few years.

Stock is not doing so well … SP500 has outperformed $V over the last 5 years.

That’s really embarrassing…

It’s precisely because of the lack of innovation that layoffs are happening. Visa has been more stagnant than a Floridian alligator in winter.

Also what are you complaining about “as a longtime shareholder” when the stock is doing well. You’re barking up the wrong tree.
