Quick Look at the job postings for 2U and it’s clear US positions are being phased out at a rapid pace… given their admission that their new “insurance” plan isn’t actually an insurance plan and a “third party vendor” they hope attrition will speed up the process.

Regardless of geography, why would you want to work for this scam fest?
If you're not in the DC area and willing to go to the Crystal City office than you are pretty much going to be phased out. The downside of remote work was that you could always higher cheaper abroad. Now that all the offices outside the DC area are gone theres not much reason to have people in NYC, Denver, FL, etc that can be outsourced to South Africa for a fraction on the cost.
