I'm sure most of you got this email today. I love how it tells us how to start a "side hustle". Only a company that chronically under pays their staff would put that out there.
"We know we don't pay you nearly enough, so here's a way to make extra money on the side!"

@zbt+1v17r8z1 And I still stand by my comments. You are paid to do a job. Do it. Look for another one. You better prepare yourself. Our economy has just started to tank. Unemployment lines are going to get longer. So…….until you find another job, stop whining and do your job.
Yeah - I have a bunch of issues with Truist, but comp is low on the list. Would I love to earn more? Of course. But as a general rule, banking pays much better than most industries.

If you’re considering a side hustle, be sure to disclose it to your manager, area manager, region leader, and market executive, and HRBP — and wait for their formal approvals. A colleague of mine was fired during the pandemic for driving with Uber, in an effort to supplement his income. Corporate security flagged it by tracking a direct deposit in their Truist account. If you think your employee account is private, think again. Corporate security monitors employee accounts regularly, often without any clear reason.
The only thing I like about Truist is my

Banking offers some of the highest starting salaries of many industries - must have no clue as usual about facts
