It’s kinda bananas calling it a RETURN to office. Dell sold my location a long time ago so there is no office to return to. Am I auto move my life to RR? It’s not my fault I don’t live near an office
my manager knows all
my manager wouldn't keep us in the dark
Dell is very transparent
derp derp derp
Dell just follows whatever the big ones are doing. RTO won’t come as a surprise.
the disinformation is incredible on this site. My manager has mentioned nothing. Sales could be a different beast, but for the rest of us, nothing seems to be changing.
My leader told me it’s going to say “get back to working out of the office. If you need to relocate, do so. Unless you are of incredible value to the company, or in a remote Sales territory, there will be no more remote workers at Dell.
The "Ask Me Anything" call said a company wide email is due to come out in the next couple weeks. Nobody really knows what the impact will be, we are all just waiting around.
The email specifically said communications about remote workers would be sent out in “the coming weeks” - so I’d expect an email within the next few weeks. The sooner the better so we can at least know where we stand.
Okay then wait for the official policy to come out . No manager also predicted the 5 day back to office for sales . Wishful thinking at this point that policy is not changing
my manager told us today that he has heard not communication about this. I think this is just people speculating. There is nothing official.
Should be coming latest Jan ; earliest November
