given the franky staggering amount of corners cut regarding safety and quality I saw Intel's in no place to go lawyer on anyone, they frankly should pray more people don't start suing

If your state / country requires payout, don’t use the days. Better to just skip work and pretend you forgot to input the time. In 2019 a friend used half his PTO before quitting, they accidentally paid out the full amount and then clawed back half a year later - they went full lawyer from the start even though he wasn’t trying to get out of paying it back. The error was completely on payroll yet they threatened him a year later, ridiculous.
