Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Does anyone know what’s happening with finance?

It seems a number of the regional teams are shrinking?

Last time they refused to publish org charts it's because they didn't want to publicise how many vacancies there were after making people redundant. Something to check...

Starting to learn of people that were cut. Some of these folks are depended on for key activity. I actually feel sorry for those like me that have to stay while all the support exits.

bP should be adding to finance, not cutting. incompetent execs are going to need help wasting all of the money they gonna waste

Alot of job cuts were cut In C&P that are not really remote either and cant be done in India .. Cuts were very deep and some dont make any sense. Almost like someone clueless about day to day work made them.

Its surprising quiet on here for amount of jobs lost this week.

When you saw BL schmoozing his way around India in August 2023, it was obvious where the jobs were going. There are clips on YT of his trip and he was nauseating.

murray's job should be moved to india all he has done is be yet another fool to preside over ongoing collapse of bP

Surely the same as the rest of bp. Your roles will be transferred to India in the future.
