two saw horses and a 4x6 sheet of plywood
Okay. We need to clear some things up.
Are there going to be designated desks in terms of your private cube as before? NO
Will there be areas of assigned seating. Basically open cube/floor with assigned seating? YES. Provided you are in office full-time 5 days.
Designated desks are coming along with the new RTO policy
Yes. DTS will be the 1st group with assigned area in RR3.
in the Draper utah office we do a form of assigned desk.. if you are hybrid and coming into the office. some of those teams have assigned desk for those people ( support teams like isg).. we also have a few desks set aside for people to use if they dont have one assigned. of course we really dont have that many people coming into the office most days.. maybe 90 or so if that depending on the day of the week for a building that can handle many many more than that..
Dell is about reducing costs. If you have available cubes and office space it's just a matter of time before they shave those down as well.
Remember. no penny is left unturned at dell
No. Next to impossible. They slashed and sold so much some sites are only at 25% of what they were before.
If it's not global then they won't get funding
According to the new site head of Ovens in Cork, they do for this site. 1 of the steps they are taking to encourge people to come back into the office apparently.
Dell as a whole do not.
