Moving to Alton’s is a way to get rid of people without paying redundancy.
So I lost you at the manager’s job title and the head count rather than the revolvers in breakout rooms?
You must be the life of parties :)
Wow, can’t believe we have 36 folks left in Esso Australia… and do we still have a subsurface mgr or you mean development manager?
Correcting an omission in an earlier comment:
PNG can be supported poorly from India.
Yes absolutely.
Subsurface manager has to let go of 25 people.
He’s putting 36 people into breakout rooms of 6 each.
He will put a six bullet capacity revolver on each table in the breakouts rooms. Each revolver will be loaded with 1 bullet.
The employees must play Russian roulette to see which employees stay.
The plus-side for the employees that don’t make it is they won’t have to work at XOM anymor
Been a long time coming. First sold the beautiful office on the River. Clearly no plans to grow the business in Australia. PNG can be supported from India. Almost the same time zone.
How many will be affected? Sounds like a trend, it is not the first and not the last.
You can either work PNG or work somewhere else. Good luck in Altona.
There won't be anything left there so yes
Yes it’s under wraps. Subsurface manager is traveling there to close office
