Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Your feelings after webcasts?

So, a couple of business webcasts have already taken place - finance, P&C etc. What are your feelings? Got any interesting info?

We have had a webcast with Castrol's CEO - some business details about transformation, but sadly (not surprisingly) no concrete information about layoffs. Same old bullsh-t. We have to wait. More details will follow. We will be informed in due time. Etc.

So fu..ing tired of this.

Cut cut cut They found out they can pump out the same amount of oil and gas with a fraction of the workforce.

Was a sad one for Castrol earlier, one wonders how did this lot get that senior in the organisation.....they are as clueless as they get to be....

To me, BPX is the only profit center and they will trim headcount everywhere.

Whenever a bP exec speaks, you are sure to waste your time listening to word salad and complete idiocy. You could do a drinking game about the trite phrases and nonsense lines they will spew
