As no real information are shared via HCL HR nor management, I'm asking myself if anyone has more information regarding the next waves. All the silence is creating a lot of rumors and also for the impacted fellows from wave one no information have been shared.
Does anyone has more verifiable information?
Next wave was announced today. I missed the call but I know I am on the list. I have been told that my final day is May 1.
Watch for Team Meetings from HCL at the end of September, October, and November. Those will be the next waves affected. You will be told not to share the information with any customers. If you are targeted, you will get a termination letter by HCL email the same day of the teams meeting. At 30 - 45 days from your termination date you will be sent a breakdown for your severance, retention bonus, accrued/unused vacation and prorated STI/LTI. From what I have seen, if you are Verizon rebadged to HCL and working in the USA, your job function will be sent to India.
Per the AH call:
Wave 2 will be announced in Nov 2024 (for Feb, March, April)
Wave 3 will be announced in Feb 2025 (for May, June, July)
You will get a minimum of 60 days notice.
You will also get 60 days to train your replacement.
