Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

No change to Foundry leadership, how will anything change?

At this point, until CEO, ELT and most of BoD is replaced, are we really going to see any change? Does anyone have any faith in these clowns? Not only do they su-k at strategizing, but also executing. They lie to us, the market and our customers. Why does this charade continue? Where is the accountability, and who enforces it?

Just fire the guy who changed the filters and say he was the cause of everything that ever went wrong at Intel

CCCP/Intel rules: :"We cut the phone lines, find a scapegoat and contain the spread of information. That is how you keep the people from undermining the fruits of their own labor."

Do not expect IFS leadership to change until the new Independent IFS Board of Directors have been appointed, and prob for at least three, if not six, months afterwards. But once that IFS BOD has been in place for a while, and it's not infected by employee members, there will likely be big changes. So prob looking at a min, a year before any meaningful IFS changes will take place. But if I was Chairman, I would prob fire 50% of the G10's and higher in IFS on the first day, along with 25% of the G9's.... as those where the people that hid their inefficiencies for decades. Whoever is left over, re-interview and re-evaluate who's left over and promote where warranted.

Jensen has 40 direct reports, few meetings and very little bloat. No way Intel could operate like that. With eight levels of management, the top 4 layers are unawares.

VPs will have to be cut along with other mangers to meet the benchmarks of TSMC and Samsung foundry operations.

Naga’s the new face right under the CEO, part of the ELT now, right? We’ve already seen a slew of VP changes, but of course, they’re just swapping in more insiders instead of bringing in fresh perspectives. Brace yourself for even more reorgs and chaos as Intel slashes away at inefficiencies. Expect a bunch of CPMs on the way until we finally start making a profit and get our act together. In two months, when all the package-takers and ISP folks are gone, that’s when the real upheaval and need for innovation will kick in. The dinosaurs blocking change need to exit first—good thing most of them are taking a long vacation until their last day, so they won’t cause too much trouble.

It’s only about the USA 🇺🇸 and the company got some ‘wins’.
ELT and BOD didn’t even have the ba--s to have a scapegoat and a sacrificial lamb…
