Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

The weirdest customer phone call I have had.

The weirdest customer phone call I ever had was when a customer called and asked if we had Equal sugar. I said I would go see if it was in stock.

I went to the aisle and there were a lot of boxes on the shelf. I then went back to the phone.

"Thank you for holding, yes, we have Equal sugar in stock."

"No, you don't."

"Yes, I just checked the shelf and we have Equal sugar in stock."

"That is impossible."

"..."

"I was just in there and you didn't have any."

"..."

"I am standing outside your store right now and you do not have it."

I was just speechless. Yes, we do have it in stock. The fact that you are calling me from outside the store (instead of asking me or anyone else inside the store) is a little difficult; furthermore, if you actually believed we do not have it, then why are you calling and asking me to check?

So crazy.

The customer eventually came in the store and was mad when they found the Equal.

But when I say that one little pack of Equal at Walgreens is out of place, well then everyone loses their minds. Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of sweeteners.

Oh, and you know the thing about Equal? It's fair! Or as I’ve come to know and love it as, equal!

The chemicals in the Equal sugar have gotten to the callers head. That's why all natural (cane) sugar is the best - have a little bit of the real sugar instead of the diet sugar.
