It's not done, far from it.

Lots of bright, tennored, experienced good people affected this year. Unbelievable. Cant fathom what the plan is. Irresponsible of Dell. We will work for the competitor MD...
The End in Mind is to sell off the company, or merge it is probably the play. It will be Broadcom that makes the move. MD I'm sure is at the point in his life where he wants to enjoy the fruits of our labor, so retirement is on his mind. He'll sit back and run MSD Capital along with his 100 best people in NYC. There will be consolidation in the IT industry over the next 3 years. Companies cannot continue to produce with falling prices. - Watch it happen
Nope. They’ll continue every month into next year. MD, JC and the rest are just absolutely terrible leaders who are only on the lookout for themselves.
They’re running the company into the ground.
“ As long as JC is at the top…”
I gave my soul to Jesus Christ and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
As long as JC is at the top, cuts will continue and they will make no sense. Thats all he knows how to do besides selling tshirts
Layoffs will continue indefinitely. Spirit at the company is near all time low. If you don’t have tenure then do yourself a favour and get the he-l out. If you do have tenure then strap in and prep yourself as best you can for the day you do get told it’s your time.
Anyone who has been given the chop, consider yourselves fortunate. Things are about to get a he-l of a lot worse for those who remain starting with a chipping away of benefits and more time spent on site.
Absolutely not done, people still getting laid off. Yesterday some got a notification, in EMEA works councils are still going though the processes.
The sec filing said 12,500 cuts in August, its hard to tell, unless the sec filing has a set timeframe.
Give it at least a week to be sure. Sometimes these things depend on how many concurrent activities HR can handle per day.
I don't know of many situations where layoffs only lasted one day, that's why I'm asking.
