Both have R&D teams. San Diego is more stable but has a higher chance to relocate. Santa Clara faces more layoffs but has more opportunities nearby. What advice would you give to fresh graduates if they can pick between the two?

Santa Clara .. you find more opportunities there than here … no headache of re location
- You won’t be given a choice. The locations have very different focuses.
- If you think it’s that easy to get on with QC, you’re a troll
- Keep in mind that many big tech companies are laying off large percentages of their workforce.
Neither! You'll be better off being employed by a company where you can build your skill set and has job stability. At qcom, you be pigeon-holed for a few years, at best, and let go.
