Spineless, uninspiring, unimaginative bunch of "leaders" Hahaha
Sounds like Amazon paid big buck$ for the Bain spreadsheet special just like Dell did. It's sad to see things come to this.
Same report is also saying "Amazon is also flattening its corporate structure by having fewer managers in each organization."
It's what happens when you have too many mid-level managers and PMs running high tech. Usually it's goes to a ridiculous level when none or few of these managers are even technical at all. They also likely to have overreliance on cheap offshore tech to remain relevant.
At least they are giving them set desks !

"...at Dell, we expect, on an ongoing basis, that 60 per cent of our workforce will stay remote or have a hybrid schedule where they work from home mostly and come into the office one or two days a week." - Jeff Clarke
"if you are counting on forced hours spent in a traditional office to create collaboration and provide a feeling of belonging within your organization, you’re doing it wrong" - Michael Dell
The Dell C-suite is a rudderless ship that flip-flops and U-turns more than politicians. Of course they call it "change/modernisation/restructuring" but its all BS
