"Hay, Lets just do what AMD did" - That's not a plan, that's a copout. Dude gets over $17 million a year for this?

How is AWS chip plan so synchronized right after the board meeting? Why this plan was not disclosed before the board meeting. Is this plan made up so quickly to perfectly match the timing?

Foundry "internal subsidiary" is the next logical step toward breaking apart the company. It now has AWS and Defense Department as leading customers, and it's got Commerce Department to make up for lack of market demand.

Based on the amount of stock he's been buying, Pat is personally betting that spinning out Foundry will lead to a major liquidity event. The gambit might eventually pay off, but how long will it take and at what price to workers and U.S. taxpayers?

Meanwhile, who knows what happens with Intel Design. Any guesses on what product lines will be "streamlined"?

Nice wording Pat but this sh-t is NOT going to fly.

"We plan to establish Intel Foundry as an independent subsidiary INSIDE of Intel"

They will push customer orders to fulfill their own chips every time.

X86 or out of business. I love the new plan.

This is where the plan goes off the rails: “A stronger Intel Products portfolio focused on X86”

There is a new Deputy Sheriff, who, I am sure, will become the CEO of the Foundry Subsidiary.
