People on here who think everyone is complying with RTO are very unaware, misinformed or both. Look around! Most of the people on my floor are lucky to be seen in the office more than once a week.

Walt will require RTO 5 and then announce his retirement giving Rick full in office attendance and none of the bad stuff is on his hands.

People not coming in when they should and getting away with it is exactly what Schwab wants. It gives Walt the perfect reason to say they have to go to 5 day RTO as a lot of the company hasn’t been coming in 3 days and the only way to ensure adherence is to have you in every single day. It will be the same temper tantrum he had when people who promised to come in weren’t coming in and then suddenly we get an email out of nowhere that we ALL have to go in 3 days a week. This is all part of their plan, don’t think they’re not noticing, they are and it’s intentional to use against you.

I have been going in 3 days per week since Jan and it is frustrating and demoralizing to see the people around me not showing up and then looking so happy on a call while sitting in their house. It has been this way for 9 solid months and no one has been reprimanded or punished. They are the smart ones. I am the clown for following the rules.

@3hkf+1uxdB5jj I can sense the sarcasm! A whole aisle behind me doesn't show up at once. I think they do RTO 3 days per week per team, 1 person every day , lol. But I go in every mandatory RTO day, stay 8 hrs and still work extra hours if work demands. I will stay that way as long as my leadership recognizes it.

It's cute that someone here thinks everyone without an exception has been going in.

Laughing my derrière off.

If you're going in and haven't seen the many empty cubes and offices you aren't paying attention.

@3rde+1uxdB5jj I still haven't gone in either. Nice for you to call people out on something you are clueless on

I don’t go in. No approval. Let them fire me.

If they track it is another unused system like Clarity. And since they don’t enforce policy equally and made a big deal about approvals without a documented process I feel pretty good about a wrongful termination case for disparate treatment. Bring it.

RTO 5 would give them one more chance to NFIU (not f it up).

It’s a cesspool. But playing in the mud makes it a little tolerable.

THATS A BOLD MOVE, COTTON. LETS SEE IF IT PAYS OFF

@1jti+1uxdB5jj “Honestly this will be the last straw for me. You get the attrition you want Walt see ya!”

Let’s be real, you’re not going anywhere. Just like all of the people who said they were NOT going back to the office when it was 3 days RTO are sitting at their desks right now working.

For those still not going to the office 3 days a week, why would they come in for 5 day RTO? They track badge times yet nobody has been fired for refusing to go in. Punishing those that do go in 3 days a week would be id--tic.

Won’t be long before it happens at Schwab. A lot of locations have employees not adhering to the scheduled days and times - that will be one of the reasons they use for 5 day RTO.

Another effective method of getting rid of employees without paying severance or having them claim unemployment later.

RTO5 by year end. I’d expect an announcement this quarter or October.

Not only do we have former Amazon on staff, but with lowering interest rates a large layoff will be more difficult. They are also expensive. Best to get people to quit.

So is Fidelity now with 2 weeks on and one or two weeks off. Majority of companies are moving to pre-Covid in office expectations … only a matter of time before we move back to 5 day too
