Thread regarding HCL Technologies layoffs

Verizon HCL - US Rules about confidentiality/severance. ((What does this mean for employees told that severance dependent on secrecy of layoff?)

(2023) The Board ruled that an employer violates Section 8(a)(1) of the National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA”) by offering a severance agreement to employees that includes confidentiality and non-disparagement terms restricting the exercise of the employees' NLRA rights.
This does not apply to supervisors- not other employees, not sure that this mandate of secrecy is legal?

This should read that it applies to employees who do not have supervisory obligations. It looks like mandating secrecy in a layoff violates this law?
