I got the brutal bot type update from manager . I couldn’t pay attention to all the details he was giving me. Am I expected to work during 60 day period and transition work ?

You are not expected to work.
In fact, after 24 hours they remove access to all the engineering tools and workspace. You also get locked out. You have the situation where it is impossible to do any work even if you want to.
In some cases, they may need you to transition your work to others on the team but the expectation is no more than a few hours. However, even this is difficult without access.
Correct. Throw your to-do list and calendar in the garbage. You are free. It’s about you now so take all the free training you can and refresh yourself. If worst thing that happens in your life is you lose your job then you have been blessed.
No need to work, just spend the time as you see fit.
