I get that a lot of folks hate working at Truist. I’m not thrilled with my job either right now. But wishing for it to completely fail? What’s the point? It’s still paying my bills. The company failing would just flood the job market and leave people without income. Sure, I criticize management and the policies, but instead of wanting it to fail, we should push for better treatment. Improving things should be the goal, not tearing them down.

EL is pure evil.
I think you’re missing the point. If there is no hope for change naturally the only hope for change is failure as a catalyst.
Failure is used in the terms of performance being bad enough to merit change, not outright bank failure.
You “Teammates” don’t understand that Bill is being applauded by institutional investors and analysts as well for the direction of SunTruist. BOD will reward him handsomely for direction of bank. The Mayo’s of the world have moved on to US Bank as the latest whipping post.
The government won't let a bank of Truist size actually fail. At worst a government assisted sale would happen.
I think most people don't want that. They just want BillyBob, Beauzo, Yes Man Mike and the other Id--ts in Charge (IIC) to be fired with no golden parachutes.
