Today is both a happy and sad day. Four years ago after countless promises Paul Reilly laid off 550 human beings. I happen to be one of those 550. I am hopeful that all those 550 landed on their feet and today are where they want to be. Hopeful but doubtful is what I would actually say. I know perhaps a dozen of those let go and most have retired but not by choice. I was lucky, retirement worked out. There was a long period of decompression that I needed but I worked thru it. It would be nice to hear how others faired?

“Never let RJ tell you they are "family", you are only one more number in their quota and profits.”
The good ol’ days are long gone.
I remember when they laid off the 550, their explanation was they has profit loss, only to come around next quarter and have record breaking profits, along with enough funds to purchase another company.
Ever Since then, I've been reached out twice to come back, and once in a director level, both time I laughed at their face and told them never again. They laid us all off during covid, without any regard for our family or wellbeing while the whole world was nearing a recession. Never let RJ tell you they are "family", you are only one more number in their quota and profits.
I was in IT when it happened to me. It was the most horrible experience of my life. After so many years to now tell family and friends what happened. I also remember all the promises Paul made and then reneged on especially with RJ having such a huge cash reserve. It was a very lucky day for me at least. I had contacts at other local companies and was able to get a job in 2 months. I only wish that karma would hit Paul and his minions
I’m fully retired and want nothing to do with that company . Paul hurt so many with no regrets
