Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

How bad will the Q3 earnings report be?

The quarter ends in about 2 weeks (30 September) and everyone has been stressed the entire time. I predict that Intel revenue drops below $50 billion for the year. More of the same in Q4.

The earnings report will have outstanding projections. Stock up 30% that day!

Loadings are the same at q2 maybe a little less. Plus the have to take the hit for all the severance so worse than last quarter. I won’t be around taking the ERP never to work again.

If you're expecting enough revenue growth to fund all the expenditures and slow the cuts... not gonna happen.

That's not even a topic of discussion or interest at Intel anymore. It's all downhill from now on filled with back to back ISPs for at least another 2 years.

Remember that IBM had to pay people to take over their fabs because they were worth less than zero.

Bloodbath.
Then comes the ISP's to shave another $10B.
Then the breakup and sale of Foundry to - wait, no one would want to buy it. Perhaps China, but even then it may not be possible.
