dish apparently has a lot of debt so I don't think will want to buy up all that debt. Time will tell.

A YouTuber said it could be split in half. I doubt that. Dish has a lot of debt due in Nov. AT&T has more subscribers. Even if AT&T buys the deal like other mergers can take time. It has not even been announced yet. if memory serves me right, when Kmart and sears merged there were layoffs before the merger itself was done.
