Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Toxic behaviour prior to announcement

Has anyone noticed the uptick in toxic behaviour as we build up to Murray’s announcement? Ie. People trying to claim scopes that aren’t theirs, control others budgets, muscle in on projects, steal others success stories and other toxic tricks to try and stay relevant. Hopefully the transformation teams are doing their due diligence and hopefully pulse feedback will actually be put to use.

Yes, definitely seen that. The WL1 garage is suddenly full. If you come in later you end up parking on the 7th level which has been empty since re-invent. Central teams are trying to dictate what the Regions do by trying to insert themselves. In the past, asking them for help they were always too busy. They are now pulling KPI data merely to report up to Management. They don't understand the details of the data so it creates noise and extra work for Regions to manage. It's not their fault, it's how our executives manage. They don't look deep into the data but want to look at trends.

Yes and office attendance has had a spike in recent weeks as some people have not been exactly following the hybrid working of 3/2.
