Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Employee Retention

While I agree, bringing in new talent has its perks like new fresh ideas and creativity into the organization. But it's also important to recognize the value of retaining employees. Especially those who have been with the company for many years and had a deep understanding of the company’s operations/procedures, those who holds relationships with customers, and business relationships outside of the company.

CommScope needs to wake up to the fact that constant rehiring is not a sustainable. Internal operations are becoming increasingly disorganized. I've seen it time and time again, where a valuable employee leaves for a better opportunity , then HR goes out to find what is considered a qualified “replacement”, but the new hire ends up struggling to understand the role, goes through trial and error for many months, and ultimately reinventing the wheel. Its makes everyone else job a lot harder.

CommScope needs a strong retention plan. Low raises and no stocks aren’t cutting it.

You don’t owe CS anything, just like they don’t owe you anything. Just step back and let it fail.

This was the executives well thought out plan, let them figure it out.

If you're not actively interviewing, you're doing a disservice to yourself and your family.

Don't waste your time on waiting for raises or bonuses, just move on. No way in he-l I’m staying. Remember, to CS, you and I are just numbers.

What you need today realize that cs slt couldn't give a toss about loyalty and experience.
Seen 1st hand Colleagues with 20+ years experience who were very smart ,tossed aside and when applied for other roles internally and could be performed 100% remote..oops sorry that's india based.
Horrible horrible behavior that isn't going away.
