Is the door starting to open for unionization at Dell in the U.S. and large IT companies in general? I've always worked for large technology companies, and whenever I've seen unions try to organize they have never been even close to successful because employees were always treated well and with respect where it counts. Good benefits, good pay, fair severance packages. Unions only have a chance if employees are not treated fairly. The complete and utter disrespect for employees over the past two years in how we've been treated, from everyone get out of the office to everyone get back in the office, to reduced severance packages, and things seeming to get worse as time goes by, and this is at a time when the company has had record profits and revenue. I would say the direction Dell is going in its treatment of employees the door could be opening for unions to take a run at the company. In the past I would have never considered unions having a chance at success, and no interest from me, however with what is going on now, I would gladly listen and most likely sign up. Looking to hear from folks on the topic of unions, any experience with them in the high tech world in the U.S. and Dell and input and considerations from real world experiences and how it could relate at Dell.

Good luck. I'd love for it to happen but never will in Texas, it'll be squashed before it gets off the ground.
