Oracle cloud AI spend all came from the deep state. The average enterprise is cutting back. Oracle, Palantir, VMware, Google will all be funded by the deep state. No need for stinking commercial business. The western deep state and chinese deep state are all tied at the hip. Otherwise they will not allow the chinese to buy VMware. Don't worry, they need just 2000 employees to server the deep state. Everyone else will be gone. Just like Tanzu and VMC they will keep saying these are great businesses even before they cut the employees by 90%. Customers are not d-mb. They have 2-3 years to transition out of VMware.

Not hard actually. Happening in its thousands of vms per day in all hyperscalers. Block level disk copy then bounce vm at appropriate time other end. L2 extension or not either way customers are moving many per day. Search for Danske bank migration AWS. 17K vms, 1000 apps, 1500 employees trained. They just wanted the he-l off it. Many many more like it.
