Walgreens Boots Alliance agreed to pay $106.8 million to settle charges it billed the U.S. government for prescriptions that were never dispensed, the Department of Justice said on Friday.
The Justice Department said that from 2009 to 2020, Walgreens submitted false claims for payment to Medicare, Medicaid and other federal health care programs for prescriptions it processed but which were never picked up.
It's worse than you think. A woman scammed walgreens out of a lot of money. Boss tried telling them above store level that it was a scam, we had lots of proof. They refused to listen and told boss to give the lady the money. Funny they treat us like thieves when it's the people above who have no common sense..

What else are they doing, not a word on anything,,,,oh but try sign up people for CREDIT CARDS that have over a 30% interest rate that no one wants, have THOUSANDS of outs in the store, cut hours nonstop, hire people that no one else hires to have a body in the store, AGAIN ask for credit cards, keep selling your assets to survive, company stock is only down 82% the last three plus years, AGAIN asking employees to push credit cards, keep paying fines, fines fines, for being unethical..... the list just goes on and on and on....and
