Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

SATG and IT

I've been in SATG for over 2 years and man o man. The directors and managers and the Principal Engineers are so freaking hollow. Too many words for too little sense

@some previous comment: What?! No ambiguity in satg? Seriously? Everyone knows about the ISP dates from a generic email, but no updates/open forum regarding how much percentage of ISP across different teams after VSP, which projects are being deprioritized, components of skill matrix, etc. Level 1 manager keeps on saying no updates from higher up the chain.

Intel Labs is the only thing keeping Intel afloat in the AI/ML diaspora..without it Intel will not even be called to the AI table. Products don't know what they need and if only they listen to what we tell them to do we wouldn't be in this mess..

Talk about SATG. The lineage comes from the Intel Labs that was the Ivory Tower. Pat Gelsinger came from that. There is no question that the Directors, PEs, Senior PEs, Fellows sound hollow. They got the best cushion and it is a self-serving group of people that milked Intel. They are an arrogant, and intimidating bunch. I have talked to many of them and it is surprising how they could have gotten there and they know how to field themselves and push others from entering the cocoon!

They seem confused about ISP too, vague updates.

Agree, it's embarrassing, how can leadership not see this and take action.
